Rock Your Socks

On Thursday the 11th of September, we will be celebrating Rock Your Socks Day here at Collier. This day is all about our PBS value of Respect – for ourselves, for others, and for our environment.

The date is also R U OK? Day, a national day that reminds us to check in with each other and show kindness and care. Rock Your Socks is our way of joining in — wearing fun, colourful, or mismatched socks to show that being different is something to celebrate, and that every person deserves respect.

On the day, all students and staff are encouraged to wear their brightest, boldest, or silliest socks. We are also asking for a gold coin donation, which will go towards making sure our PBS prizes are always stocked and ready to celebrate students who show our CARE values.

By rocking our socks, we’ll be showing that we respect each other’s individuality and that we’re committed to making Collier a caring and supportive school.

So, get your socks ready for Thursday the 11th of September, bring along your gold coin donation, and let’s make it a day that shows how we CARE at Collier!
