Enrolments

We welcome the opportunity to speak with you regarding the enrolment of your child/ren at Collier Primary School.  We are happy to take the time to walk you around the school and answer any questions you may have regarding the enrolment process.

We accept local intake area enrolments throughout the school year. If you do not reside in our local intake area, you are not guaranteed a placement, however you are still welcome to submit an Application for Enrolment form for consideration. We will liaise with your local intake school if they are at capacity and unable to accept your enrolment. Declined enrolments will provide appeal information and you can contact the South Metropolitan Education Regional Office for further support.

If you are a parent or responsible person wishing to apply to enrol a child at Collier Primary School, you will need to complete the Application for Enrolment form for each child you are enrolling.

Application A of the enrolment form will be considered and if successful, you will be contacted to complete Application B.

All children of compulsory school age must be enrolled at school and attend every day.

You need to apply to enrol your child at your local school if they are:

  • starting Kindergarten at a school or community kindergarten – 4 years old by 30 June
  • starting Pre-primary and enrolling in their first year of compulsory schooling – 5 years old by 30 June
  • starting Year 7 – the first year of secondary schooling
  • changing schools
  • new to Western Australia.

With the Application Form, you will need to provide:

  • Your child’s birth certificate or passport,
  • Any Family Court Orders and a
  • Proof of Address document (that is current) that proves that you reside with the child within the Local Intake Area.
  • A Council rates notice, lease agreement, water or other utility bill is acceptable. We do not accept driver’s licences or bank statements as a primary proof of address.

Kindergarten Enrolment

Application for enrolment for 2026 kindergarten opens on Monday 28 April and will close on Friday 25 July 2025.

Pre Primary to Year 6

Immunisation records from AIR will be required once you have been offered a place in our program.
